Is mentally obese something slowly that we becoming?
I spend most of my time online because of what I do.
and I thought of sharing this here.
regardless your niche, we all have our mental health aspect
Have you ever felt like your brain is just... tired? Like no matter how much sleep you get, you're still exhausted mentally? That’s what we can call "mental obesity." It's when our minds are overloaded with too much information, thoughts, and worries, much like how our bodies can get overloaded with unhealthy foods.
We live in a world where we’re constantly bombarded with social media, emails, news, and endless to-do lists. We’re consuming way more information than our brains can handle, and just like eating junk food, it’s starting to weigh us down. You might notice it when you struggle to focus, feel stressed all the time, or find it hard to make decisions. That’s mental clutter building up, and it’s slowing us down.
The good news? We can take steps to declutter our minds. Just like we might go on a healthy eating plan for our bodies, we need to be more mindful of what we consume mentally.
Taking breaks from social media,
practicing mindfulness, giving ourselves time to relax and reflect can make a big difference.
Mental obesity isn’t something to ignore. Our brains, like our bodies, need space to breathe and function well.
Let’s be kinder to ourselves and give our minds the care and rest they need to stay sharp and healthy.
